Patients & Families
Improve the current clinical trial process and get medicines to patients sooner
TLS is a patient-centered, 21st-century clinical research company that helps biopharma clients develop new medications for people with a variety of diseases. We are committed to active patient involvement throughout the entire clinical development process, which includes input into clinical trial design, home-based patient data collection, and transparency in all that we do.
We involve patients in the clinical trial design process so that studies are tailored to address the specific concerns and issues patients face every day. This web-based platform benefits patients and also provides valuable information to drug developers, regulators and healthcare providers responsible for ongoing patient care.
Our Transparency Protocol Crowdsourcing is an easy-to-use web-based platform that solicits participants’ views on issues relevant to the proposed clinical study for the new medication. Patient responses to the crowdsourcing questions (called “challenges”) provide researchers with a clearer view of what patients hope to achieve from their medication and clinical trial experience. We invite patients, caregivers and family members to participate.
Patients who meet the clinical trial inclusion criteria (certain physiological and health status requirements that are needed to obtain meaningful clinical results) will have the opportunity to take part in the clinical trial itself. TLS is committed to reducing the burdens that clinical trial site visits can impose on patients. By leveraging our proprietary digital platform and new digital technologies — such as video chat, biosensors, and other mHealth devices — we collect most of the clinical trial patient data at home. This unprecedented convenience represents a new paradigm for clinical trial conduct.
Please help us bring patient input to the clinical design process by participating in our crowdsourcing projects. We also encourage you to participate in our project-specific forums. Your active participation increases the voice of the patient and ensures this new paradigm becomes a reality for all patients around the world.
