Why LDN in Crohn's disease?

  • The unmet medical need in Crohn's Disease remains high. Current medications are only modestly effective; some have severe side effects.
  • Naltrexone is an opiate receptor antagonist that has been used safely in hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide for treatment of drug and alcohol abuse.
  • Anecdotal evidence of efficacy in Crohn's Disease has been reported, but compelling data from a recently-completed randomized placebo-controlled trial is additional reason to study LDN.

Please join us in designing an innovative clinical study of LDN in Crohn's disease!
